Bee Pollen Smoothie

This recipe came from chef Sarah Britton on www.rawfoodrecipes.com.

Bee pollen is a powerful superfood that is rich in b vitamins, essential amino acids (a complete protein!), antioxidants, minerals and trace elements, and can also help with seasonal allergies. In this recipe Sarah Britton combines this magical food with even more yummy ingredients: blueberries, banana, dates, fresh nut milk and a nice sized chunk of ginger. Follow her advice and start small with the bee pollen. It may even be good to try a single grain in the rare case that you might be allergic. This is the Perfect breakfast smoothie for a relaxed or busy weekend alike!
