Thank you for holding space for my miracle. I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids when I was 23 years old. I had surgery to remove them when I was 28. They took out seven pounds of tumors.
Two month after surgery, I was anemic and I noticed that the swelling, pain and heavy cycle began again. They were back. So seven years later, I had another surgery to remove the tumors. They removed 21 tumors. The largest the size of a grapefruit and the smallest about the size of a walnut.
So it’s been eight years and it’s time to have the surgery again, but the doctors say they’ll need to do a hysterectomy because of all the scarring from the previous surgeries.
Here’s what I think: I gotta correct whatever is happening in my mind so that my reality can no longer bear fibroids in my uterus. I need a miracle.
I’ve attached a couple of pictures I found online. One of them is of 89 fibroids pulled from one woman’s uterus. The other is of the fruit scale they use to compare them.
