About this video…
This was taken at the end of my first day in Siem Reap, Cambodia. I had been out walking all day long and was experiencing a real culture shock. Life here in Cambodia is still tinged with the blood of the Khmer Rouge. The burden of that reign of terror is carried on the shoulders of the survivors and their children. What am I doing here? I’m being a tourist, being a healer, being a patient, being a receiver, being a giver. I have called in awakening to my power. I have called in my dragon and my heart has lead me here. I am being challenged to keep an open mind while here in Siem Reap, Cambodia. My experience here does not fit in with my other experiences in Asia. I have been calling in big, deep change at the level of my core. I have been calling for release from the prison of my inhibitions. I’ve grown weary of playing small and being ‘nice’ and ‘polite.’ I’ve worn these courtesies as a shield and actually hidden myself behind them. They’ve become a mindset that no longer serves me and I am ready to release them. Cambodia is the Kingdom of Power, and I am here to use it to discover my own.
