There’s something incredibly liberating about the idea of crafting a life that aligns perfectly with your deepest desires and values. For me, that meant creating a spiritual life coaching business that not only allowed me to help others but also gave me the freedom to travel the world, experiencing new cultures and places while staying deeply connected to my purpose. But the journey to creating this dream lifestyle wasn’t without its challenges—and it’s a story I’m eager to share.
My journey into spiritual life coaching officially began in 2012 when I received my coaching certification. I had always been drawn to the idea of travel, having loved exploring new places for as long as I can remember. But it wasn’t until I read Tim Ferriss’ book The 4-Hour Work Week that the idea of combining my passion for travel with my coaching career truly began to take shape. I read that book several times, soaking in the systems and strategies that Ferriss laid out, and I became determined to create a business that would allow me to work remotely from anywhere in the world.
In 2013, I was ready to launch this new chapter of my life. I had a plan, a purpose, and a deep sense of excitement about the adventures that lay ahead. But life, as it often does, had its own plans. My mother passed away unexpectedly from cancer, and suddenly, I found myself at the crossroads of grief and a new beginning. It was a challenging time, to say the least. I was mourning the loss of my mother while also trying to navigate the early stages of my coaching business.
Despite the grief, I pressed forward with my plans to travel. It was what I needed to do—for my own healing and to honor the commitment I had made to myself and my new business. My first stop was Montreal, Canada, where I spent six months grieving the terrible change of my mom’s death, but also focusing on building my coaching practice. It was during this time that I began to see the power of the systems I had integrated into my business, inspired by Ferriss’ book. These systems allowed me to maintain and grow my business even as I moved from place to place.
From Montreal, I traveled to Bali, Indonesia, where I spent three transformative months. Bali was a place of deep healing for me—a sanctuary where I could reconnect with my purpose and begin to process the grief that had been weighing heavily on my heart. The spiritual energy of Bali was palpable, and it fueled my work in ways I hadn’t anticipated. I found myself not just coaching my clients, but also healing myself in the process.
Next, I journeyed to Haridwar, India—a place steeped in spiritual tradition and wisdom. Haridwar was a different kind of adventure, one that challenged me to dive even deeper into my spiritual practice and to bring that depth into my coaching work.
From there, I made my way to southern France— Saint Martin des Palliers, a glorious village that will always hold a special place in my heart. My business was thriving, and I was beginning to truly feel the freedom that I had envisioned when I first set out on this path.
But the journey didn’t stop there. I returned to Long Beach, California, where I had originally set up my wellness studio back in 2009. It was grounding to return to familiar territory, but I soon felt the pull to continue my travels. Spain, Cambodia, and then to Paris—each place offering new experiences, new lessons, and new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
My business remained strong, thanks to the solid foundation I had built. The systems I had put in place allowed me to continue serving my clients no matter where I was in the world.
Croatia and Italy followed, each destination adding its own unique flavor to my journey. When the Covid lockdown hit, I found myself back in California for a year and a half. It was a time of reflection and adaptation, but my business didn’t falter. In fact, it gave me the stability I needed during such uncertain times.
Now, I find myself in Paris once again—happy, fulfilled, and deeply connected to my purpose. The adventures I’ve had, the incredible people I’ve met, and the beautiful places I’ve experienced have all been possible because of the way I structured my spiritual life coaching business. It’s a business that not only supports my lifestyle but enhances it, allowing me to live in alignment with my values and passions.

What I’ve learned through this journey is that creating a dream lifestyle as a spiritual life coach is entirely possible. It’s about more than just building a business; it’s about building a life that reflects who you truly are and what you truly want. It’s about embracing the freedom to move about the world, to experience life fully, and to connect deeply with both your clients and yourself.
The systems and structures I integrated into my business were key, but so was the commitment to my purpose. When you align your work with your deepest values, when you build your business on a foundation of integrity, excellence, and passion, you unlock a level of freedom that’s truly life-changing.
My journey has been one of both external adventures and internal growth, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
